He's still fighting!
His latest attempt was a planning application to create a bungalow - by demolishing the first floor.
But it's been rejected.

On Facebook, his wife says they are packing things into boxes, getting ready to move, and that the demolition will start in March.0

Three months and counting, Fidler. Three months and counting. Don't forget your toothbrush, and don't bend down to pick the soap up.0

problem solved for all intents and purpose
A "solution" so mend-meltingly daft that it's a wonder Fidler hasn't actually tried it...0 -
He's starting to pull it down.
The law finally catches up with Fidler.0 -
I thought he'd sold it and if he has, surely he can't knock it down without compensating the person(s) he's sold it to?
Just out of interest, the supposed 'Instrument of Transfer' has been published in the Law Society Gazette - see below.
Not surprisingly, Fidler's solicitor said that 'the document was not a legally binding transfer of property and usual conveyancing procedures would be necessary to achieve a lawful transfer.'‘i Claim i am a man: “Robert Arthur Fidler” and that i purchased a “Property”: “HONEYCROCK FARM” at Axes Lane SALFORDS SURREY [RH1 5QL], for a history for “Love and Devotion” i wish and grant You: a woman: “Linda Fidler”, and a man: “Bali Mann” to act as OWNER and henceforth from this date Notice to have Possession of a Property: “HONEYCROCK FARM” at Axes Lane SALFORDS, as stated on the attached EXHIBIT A as outlined in Red Hatched Area, while i agree to sell above stated Property it is Your responsibility to inform any interested parties of the change.’

Link to Daily Maul article as destruction begins...
Shock-warning, owing to massive builder's butt-crack in first photo... oh, and dozens of scantily-clad "stars" on the right hand side. Who are they??? Who cares???
Nurse, my gin. And tablets. Mix 'em up real good!0 -
Link to Daily Maul article as destruction begins...yes its still there and it will be this time next year and the years after.
the same people will always be saying he has lost and this time it rteally will have to be demolished, but they will be just as wrong as they were several years ago saying the same things.
they will still be saying the same things in years to come but mr fidler is always one step ahead.
fidler is a hero, he has set a president for others to follow.
the planning laws are a joke, now many others will be building without all the messing about trying to get permission, they will be successful just like the fidlersthe fact that everybody wants to ignor is
it is still there.
honestly its like the emporers new clothes with some people.
no matter how you spin it, all those who said it would have to come down were wrong.
who wants to bet me it will still be there next year?0
