Can anyone please help.
Tonight I have been hounded by by phone calls from a person in Iraq saying he wants a friend,,,He will not put the phone down and when he does he then rings back continuously.when i rang 1471 I kept getting 2 numbers,,the first one is 0015510282,and the next is a 17 yes 17 digit number 0096467901677893,I never rang back the numbers but suspicion makes me believe it is some sort of scam. Can i stop the phone calls (im on NTL) And has anyone else heard of this......

Call NTL and ask to speak to there nuisance calls team who will block the calls for you...

The first number you mentioned is a USA number, though the location code 551 does not match any city in the US, the second number is Iraqi.0

it's too short to be a USA number, though the code is from New Jersey
but I appreciate that isn't very relevant for you ...0 -
he using a mobile to make the call using a gateway. from sounds of it. can ask my iraqi friends some things u can ask him :-D0
