ordered my xmas presents from gadgetshop on 25th november so i thought 'oh !!!! i better ring them up' to no avail as i was on hold for 4 different half hour periods over the last week
so i rang up city-link and asked about it and they informed me that my gardener 'G Kyle' had signed for it
i dont have a fricking gardener!!!!
so i rang the cop shop and they said its the gadgetshops duty to send out the goods again so i rang them up and got through and they said they cant get the goods out for christmas
so all in all ive had the most terribly upsetting day and christmas is well and truly ruined

really sorry to hear that, could you get city link to provide you with a copy of the signature and the date and time it was signed for? I dont know what else you can do, apart from try and avoid that courier company in the future
Hope you have a good christmas in spite of whats happened.Debt free 3 years early :j
Savings for house deposit - very healthy
Cash back earnt so far £14.570 -
just rang gadget shop and got a full refund
but still need to go up the town for xmas presents on xmas eve of all days!0 -
Good ole initial sh1tty link. Used by so many because they are so cheap - and so sh1tty ! I specifically won't use any retailer who uses city link now because of their reputation.0

I ordered something on Friday online it arrived by City Link yesterday no problem, all couriers have issues it's how they handle the complaint that is the key to how good they are. Is the OP saying they ordered on 25/11 but only checked this week where the goods werre? Not really Citylink's fault is it?0

I find that I try to avoid internet shopping these days unless I know it will be delivered by Royal Mail. Then, I know if the product is delivered when I am not in I do not have far to travel to collect from the delivery office. One of the downsides to internet shopping!0

I can't believe you don't have your own gardener!!!;)
Sounds like one of those things. over the past few weeks I've had stuff from royal mail delivered ok, other stuff just left in next doors porch.
HDN have put stuff over my back fence (on a wet day, a cardboard box).
I bet they're just busy, and generally they can get away with it.Remember the time he ate my goldfish? And you lied and said I never had goldfish. Then why did I have the bowl Bart? Why did I have the bowl?0
