RBS Current Account Internal Scoring

Hi

Does anyone know about the RBS 'Risk Level' associated with the current account?

What's the scale?

Cheers

  • If it's the same thing I think you mean, then all bank customers have one.

The scale is between 1-10, with 1 being lowest risk.
Anything that I do say, is strictly my opinion :p

Forgot to mention that those are the usual bands - there is actually a 0 aswell, but that's mainly for customers with new accounts who haven't been scored yet, or sometimes, for those who have relationship managers (ie businesses) :p

I wonder what my friend is, I assume Natwest have the same system. He applied for a current account (not a gold or advantage one) and it came straight off with a Servicecard 250!

Could be anything, tbh, the risk band is just one of many factors that influence decisions like that.

Not a normal STEP account, no. But there are some circumstances where they or even people with current accounts may have a blank.
