Canada - Travel Insurance???

Hi thinking of going to Canada for a short break and wondering what the postion was regarding Insurance. Is it a legal requirement for entry into Canada to have some form of travel insurance?

    I wouldn't go anywhere without insurance whether it was a legal requirement or not

    That wasn't the gist of the post, just asking whether insurance is required for entry. The pros of insurance are quite obvious....
