You could try getting on the books of tutorial agencies that match students with tutors. Try looking in the local paper for agencies that are advertising. Most will say new tutors welcome. The other option is to put a note in newsagent's windows & supermarket board's advertising your services. Teachers often recommend tutors when asked by parents, so if you know any teachers let them know your looking for work.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Thanks,
The local paper is surprisingly bare when it comes to tutors, I've thought about the supermarkets but didn't know if anyone would be interested0 -
I used to do a bit via an agency I found advertising in the local paper.Happy chappy0

Would recommend you get a CRB check first, which an agency will almost certainly do for you ... Do a search, I am sure this was asked (but it was some time ago) and someone mentioned an agency!Signature removed for peace of mind0

it only costs about £30 for a full disclosure which with all this press about dodgy teachers at the moment will be a very good idea!
