New Year Resolution - Make more but spend less !!

A whimsical post here.
A credit card new year resolution. I'm going to make more from credit card use, but spend less......
Over the past few years, my credit card spend has gradually risen. Mostly due to getting cashback, or using interest free periods to my advantage. However what this has meant is a steady increase in what I have been spending overall.
Not a major issue, but I've been trying to live below my income (if you know what I mean) and save to allow for retirement as early as possible. I still do this, but the steady increase in spending is something I want to curb.
So. Come the new year I am going to spend less on credit cards but am also going to make sure I make as much as possible from the various companies.
Might not work, but I am going to try........
