Hello people,
Having visited a Toyota garage recently, I am interested in the Toyota Aygo Blue - can anyone offer any feedback in terms of what the car is like, reliability, etc. the quoted MPG seemed very good - is this realistic?
Thank you.

You know the Citron C1 and Pug 107 are the same car, but the Aygo is the one I would have. But on looks it would be the C1.0

same car isnt it? See what the other dealers offer0

I have a Yaris and its fab. I have heard that the Aygo isn't up to the usual Toyota standards though, ie. not great build quality and a bit "tinny". I used to always have French cars but to be honest, I wouldn't have one now. I think they have really gone downhill.0

I had a test drive in an Aygo and they're fun little cars to drive, quite chuckable but I wouldn't want to do too many motorway miles in one. They're more a country lane/city beast.
From what I remember the Aygo is the more expensive of the 3 (Aygo/C1/107) but the Toyota aftercare service is very good.0 -

He was talking about aftercare customer service - not car servicing!0 -
Currently driving one as a courtesy car, while mines being repaired.
Yes they are tinny,and if I'm correct,are only a 3 cylinder,but I reckon mine is doing 50+ mpg,and it will do over 100mph.(Allegedly.)
You don't get a great deal inside them. You get a cd player, electric front windows, central locking, (Non remote.) 5 speed gearbox, and that's about it really.
I have had 4 in it,and the rear is a bit cramped, but it still went well, but the boot is virtually non existant.
Would I buy one though?
No I wouldn't.I would be tempted to look at the Citroen or the Pug,as I believe one of them is chepaer when buying new. That's my mutt in the picture above.0 -
they are tinny and cheap because of the price, thats the whole point surely0

Thanks very much for the replies. I will take one for another test drive and make a decision. I always find car buying very confusing so all replies are gratefully received!0

I've had my Aygo Platinum for about 8 months now and have had no trouble with it at all. In fact we use it more than the large family estate car we own. It gives us around 58 mpg on average and is very comfortable. Great little car and we don't regret our purchase. HTH0
