Hi there,
I am wondering if anyone has any advice on the best way to direct any calls that come to my home phone to my mobile when I am abroad...
I am with TalkTalk for my landline and O2 for my mobile. I run a business from home and when I am way from the house I put the landline on a divert to my mobile so I don't miss any business calls.
I am spending 3 months travelling around the World and wondered if anyone knew of the best way to divert my landline to my UK mobile whilst abroad...is there a cheap number I can divert through so I am not paying full price for the diverted call from landline to my UK mobile whllst abroad. (I am travelling through about 10 different countries but spending around 1 month in Australia if this makes a difference)
Any help much appreciated!

You can handle your calls using a GSM Gateway device. See
http://burnsidetelecom.com/site.php/00241.html
The Burnside T910 costs over £300, so it is not a purchase to be made lightly. However, call diversion over a three-month period is probably going to be costly whichever way you do it, and you may well find that a GSM Gateway is a useful aid to your business after you return.
There is plenty of information on the Burnside website, and they are a company with a lot of experience in cellular devices.
I hope this will help you.

You could cut the cost of calls by 20% from your Talk Talk Landline to your Mobile, by nominating the mobile number as your prime number in the Calling Circle. Also you could subscribe to the Talk Talk mobile extra bolt on for cheaper calls to mobiles.
This of course will not reduce the cost of recieving your mobile calls whilst roaming.0 -
Why dont you get a voip enabled phone and sign up for sipgate.co.ukKind Regards
