You sound just like my kinda fella. I love trucks, always wanted to learn to drive one ;)

I'm really looking forward to Manchester. Was trying to persuade Tigtag to join us last night :D

BB maybe OH has got [strike]himself[/strike] you a nice shiny flatscreen for your sitting room :rotfl: Do you have an idea's what he might have got you? I Love the surprise too!

Nah, he's happy with my £2.31 ebay bargain!! :rotfl:

I wouldn't have a clue what he would buy me. There is every chance he hasn't been shopping yet........there is still tomorrow after all......... To give him his due, he does really struggle with gifts generally and does comment with 'I really thought you'd like that' when I open presents and does have reasons for what he buys (a really posh mp3 player last year so I could listen to music while I walk Charlie - which wasn't on the list). Hmmm, if I were to guess, I'd say........I don't know....I don't think he would buy chocolates or perfume, or lingerie, or clothing. It would possibly be something cookery related, I do always slobber over Le Creuset stuff when I see it on programmes.

I have always wanted a build your own radio kit. I used to see a set in the window of Tandy when I was about 12 when my Mum was in there on a Saturday paying the weekly finance for the stereo and I always wanted one, but never got one (probably because I never said!)

  • Ah Pepe...

Sweets-it seems to me you have tried with OH so go forth and find happiness. It is NEVER easy to end things but it seems to me that it will be all round.
I certainly wouldnt want to be with someone if they didn't love me. It's bad enough being with someone you KNOW loves cause relationships are not a easy thing are they? Sometimes love isnt enough *sigh*

  • I've seriously messed up Xmas wrapping this year! I said 'I wont buy any mkore wrap' as I keep buying it and have LOADS in a box in the loft...so DH goes and gets it...and it's full of wrap-of the birthday sort! Nothing even remotely Xmassy! Pink flowers etc! !!!!!!! And he's out now and the kids are in bed. !!!!!!.
