Hi everyone,
First off, I apologise if this is the wrong forum, I'm new! :A
The reason I'm writing is to get the opinion of some money saving experts like yourselves. I'm in the market for a new TV (something about 40" of either the LCD or Plasma persuasion) and am wondering about when to buy.
Now, being a 28 year old single guy I obviously want this yesterday. And with the deals around at the moment I'm really tempted (after all, how cool would it be to see HRH in 42" widescreen on Christmas Day!). :T
But, my question is - given that there are loads of deals out there now, do you think they're going to get even better either next week (before New Year) or after 01/01/09?
I was in Richer Sounds in Stockport last week and a salesman was telling me how much stock they've got - apparently they'd had 28 pallets delivered in the previous four days! Now I think that's a shed load of stuff to sell when we're in the middle of an economic crisis, but I've never worked in a TV shop, so I don't know. Do we think supply and demand's going to come into effect sooner or later?
Any words of wisdom would be gratefully received!
Chris
PS Happy Christmas one and all!
