Kerbed Alloy

Hi, Unfortunately I kerbed half the rim of a front alloy tonight, after doing a search I found Honestjohn recommends www.wheelwarriors.co.uk in Chester. I was wondering if anyone has used them and can provide any feedback as to the quality of their work. The alternative is a company called Smart Wheels, any feedback here would be appreciated as well.

Also would a mobile service be as good as one carried out on premises as wouldn't the tyre need to be removed and balanced etc to do a proper job?

If you search around you'll find a place that will refurb the entire wheel and powder coat it for about the same price of a kerb repair, or even less. Only problem is the colour may not be a perfect match.

Mobile people should have a balancer etc in their van but will probably be more expensive.

National Alloys in widnes, cheshire are one of the best around! They get people from over 100 miles away as there is no one that can do em better!

Thanks for the replies, already left the car with Smart Wheels who will do it for £35. I'll collect the car tomorrow, hopefully it be ok.
