Help- all sorts of weird things going on with my car
Hello. On Saturday I switched on my car to find that the heating had stopped working: no fan at all, not on any setting. Also the electric windows did not work and the display read Bonnet Open, which it wasn't. Then after a few hours it fixed itself with all of the above working again but this morning they're all not working. It's a 2005 Ford Focus and I've recently shelled out loads to get a problem fixed with the power steering. There's no way I can spend any more money on it. Any ideas?

Possibly unrelated but was there not a problem with Focus instrument clusters failing? I agree get the old Google working for you and see what turns up.0

on a 2005 focus it could be as simple as a dodgy battery connection especially as you may have just had it disconnected or possibly to do with the alternator
a few people have had strange dash errors and they have been battery connection related
power steering fluid gets dumped on the floor due to a faulty hose and should have been a warranty job also watch out for the squeaky seats 05>remember it is nice to be important
but more important to be nice0 -
