Help- all sorts of weird things going on with my car

Hello. On Saturday I switched on my car to find that the heating had stopped working: no fan at all, not on any setting. Also the electric windows did not work and the display read Bonnet Open, which it wasn't. Then after a few hours it fixed itself with all of the above working again but this morning they're all not working. It's a 2005 Ford Focus and I've recently shelled out loads to get a problem fixed with the power steering. There's no way I can spend any more money on it. Any ideas?

Possibly unrelated but was there not a problem with Focus instrument clusters failing? I agree get the old Google working for you and see what turns up.

we just traded our foucs in we had nothign but trouble with the elces on it nightmare jst brought a skoda octavia estate brilliant !
  • on a 2005 focus it could be as simple as a dodgy battery connection especially as you may have just had it disconnected or possibly to do with the alternator
a few people have had strange dash errors and they have been battery connection related
power steering fluid gets dumped on the floor due to a faulty hose and should have been a warranty job also watch out for the squeaky seats 05>
remember it is nice to be important
but more important to be nice ;)
