Should everyone who posts note where they found the freebie...would that make everyone feel better?

I got an email telling me of this voucher but didn't have time to list it before anyone...... lucky I didn't now, woulda been "told off" for taking someone elses "Credit" ....this sorta thing makes me rethink before telling people of my good finds! :-[

they should give credit to someone who originally found the 'bargain' or freebie if it's just been copied from somewhere else.

I'll bet if it wasn't taken directly from the orignal MSE users's (dustyd0g) thread and adapted then it found its way on to another board and then back here again.

"credit" as you call it not being given to the person that actually took the time to share (incidentally dustyd0g - who posted it in the 'Quick! Grab it while you can' forum is another newbie), only to the person that copies info from elsewhere. So if people have no incentive to post original freebies and bargains then all we'll have is the same ones again and again and again.

and actually you've got it wrong - if you had originally posted it i would be trying to re-enforce the point that you deserve the "credit" for posting it first. If others are too lazy (as a lot of you are now admitting) to use the search function then we'll simply have hundreds of posts about the same offer.
