Hi,
My friend was on income support and did not know how much money you could save. This benefit has been stopped and she has paid back £2000.
If she pays back all the money, will she be able to make a new claim for income support as she does not know.

She should immediately put in a claim when her savings reach £8,000 or less. Between £3-8,000 will be taken into account and less than £3,000 won't. Also Housing Ben, Council Tax Ben if she is on them too.Torgwen..........
