  • Next go upto 16. But my lads have 28 inch waists and they just have the mens 30 inch and wear them baggy

I have a problem too, my lads always had trouble getting jeans. He needs a 28" waist and 34" inside leg. Luckily he's not bothered by designer names but I cant get them anywhere now unless I pay £50 - 60 a pair, not very MSE
Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!

Go to one of the levi outlets or similar...The lad could be one of the few people that actually fits one of their two criteria - tiny waste, long leg or gigantic waste, no legs at all...

next directory is great - should be able to get a bargain too with their sale coming up. My son (13) is skinny but i can always find something to fit him. I normally order about 4 pairs for him to try and just send back the ones that don't fit.
  • boys jeans age up to 15 in debenhams nice trendy ones ben sherman and duffer ones just bought them for skinny 15 and 17 year olds very pleased they are

I'm guessing he's the usual very tall & skinny 14 year old that shops just don't seem to cater for. Try Topman or River Island, they seem to be quite slim fitting. My 14 year old is 26" waist, 34" leg - you try finding them! I'm just thankful for the droopy jeans look - it's the only way his will reach his ankles.

The only place we can get clothes to fit our son at a decent price is surprisingly BHS !!!!!

It is not a shop that I would have thought of looking but we were in there browsing last new year during the sales and found that they have a good range of clothes for boys of around that age - jeans, casual shirts, casual jackets, t-shirts etc. etc.

Last week I went in with him as we were passing and he spotted the suits for boys/teens - he was really keen to get one but as he would not have much opportunity to wear it and he is still growing I quickly changed his mind for him - LOL
Your really can not beat a good bargain !!!
  • I have a skinny 14 year old boy. He is about 5' 4". He has just got some skinny jeans from New Look as he is size 28 waist which seems to be the smallest they do.

  • Kids Designerwear have Voi and Ben Sherman Boys jeans from £9.99 - they are listed under waist and inside leg measurements rather than sizes. They also have other Designer (more expensive) teenage jeans that are in ages - but they found the measurements of things for me a couple of weeks ago, so could ask for them to check the sizes??
