    My lot are still easily occupied by this sort of activity.The scoubidou craze kept them quiet for days.I think I might do some pom poms with dd,Mum will have some wool ;)

    I needed to make some very small pompoms recently for a costume and it was impossible to cut samll enough circles in cardboard.

    then inspiration - I'd gone to Wickes with DH and I saw a big packet of 'penny washers' - flat washers about the size of a 2p piece with a hole the size of an old half penc coin in the middle - for not very much money and two of those are brilliant for very small pompoms
    It doesn't matter if you are a glass half full or half empty sort of person. Keep it topped up! Cheers!

    Yeh, we did all that kinda stuff and we had a huge dressing up cupboard full of fur stoles with the heads still on:eek: and overcoats and helmets from the war. My mum works and I often feel my kidz are missing out compaired to me who had a cross-over pinnied granny on tap all day.
