High Interest Rate on Card

Hi all
I've got an HFC Marbles card that is charging 31.9% interest on £6k... I called them last week to see if they were open to reducing the interest rate and they've told me that they sold my debt on and couldn't negotiate.
I am not in a position to set up a new card or juggle my debts as I've had to temp since being made redundant last January. I'm using what little savings I have to supplement the temp position I have now - beggars cannot be choosers in the current job market so I had to take this job.
Can anyone offer me some advice on what to do? I'm not trying to get out of paying back what I've spent, just want to be able to pay the debt back before I retire which isn't likely at that rate!!!
Thanks in advance
Fi

You should post this in the 'Debt-Free' board, as you'll probably need to cut in spending to put more money back into the payments.0

Sorry Normanmark but I thought this was the right forum for credit cards.
My personal expenditure - after paying all bills and debtors - is £30 or less per month. Unless I forego personal hygene I doubt I could get it down any less0 -
Well yes this is the right forum for credit cards, but i don't know what advice people here can offer you. You phoned the company & they've sold the debt on - thats the end of the line in terms of advice here i would say.
Well you can't get another card due to your work you said. So if another card is not an option the only way you can get the debt shifted sooner is to increase the amount on your payments. Hence why i said post this there & someone could have a look at it for you and see if there's anything you might have overlooked.0
