What does adware.videoegg mean?

I have just run Malwarebytes anti malware on my aunt's PC and it came up with 765 infected objects - most of which were listed as 'adware.videoegg' stating that they were 'key registry' or something similar.

These have been quarantined and deleted by Malwarebytes but I was just wondering where these would have come from in the first place. Any ideas?

Id run a FULL malwarebytes scan if I were you to be sure

I had the same problem - was all connected to Bebo

DD got a bit of a telling off, took me hours to sort out :mad:

Ahhh. My cousin uses Bebo alot actually. Will check that out.

Funny you both mention that actually. I went on bebo a few weeks ago and noticed 'videoegg' was trying to hatch a script (Which NOSCRIPT blocked)
But its no longer there. I wonder if they were hacked or something?
