  • I don't honestly see the point of being an accumulator of wealth - accumulation is fine so long as you make use of it now and again. Saving for the future is obviously very important, but having millions isn't as important as enjoying hundreds of thousands, is it?

    I earn, I pay my bills, I spend some, generally save or invest more and when I want something I buy it. My goal (unlike Lokolo's ;)) isn't ever to be rich, but instead to be able to do what I like, when I like, without worrying about where the money's coming from. I'm adept at living to my means and if my income reduced I know I could easily reduce my outgoings and keep my savings ticking over.

    I think the formula is pretty poor, because you may come a long way short of being an "average accumulator" but may have above average disposable income, which is what's important in shaping your life now and in the future.
    You've never seen me, but I've been here all along - watching and learning...:cool:
