Stopped paying into CTF - what next?

Ok, after watching my 2 1/2 year olds CTF value plummet Ive cancelled my monthly direct debit into it and would rather put my hard earned dosh somewhere a little safer and consistent for a while. Other 2 children have the Halifax 10% accounts - is it still possible to get these, and if not, does anyone have any other recommendations? Dont even mind getting a lower rate, if my cash can at least maintain its value for a while during these awful times...thankyou!
Feel free to thank me, it makes my toes tingle and my ears go warm :T
