in Credit cards
I am having a silly moment and cant think properly.
I have been offered a Lloyds TSB cc which has 0% for 3 months on purchases. I dont have any other debts apart from £187 I owe on my next account. If I take out this card can I use it to pay off the next account. In other words would that be classed as a purchase or balance transfer?
Thanks

You cannot directly use a credit card to pay off a store/credit card.
You also cannot BT to/from a store card.
Some credit cards permit a money transfer to a bank account so as to give you cash from which you can pay a store card. LLoyds does not.0 -
