Floor reinforcement required for upstairs gym?

As me and the new wife are looking around for a family house to move into now (it's about time I knocked her up ;) ), one of my demands is somewhere to have a home gym. The more houses I look at, the more I realise that having a gym downstairs is going to be unlikely in the areas I want.

Soooo...with that in mind, I am considering either a loft conversion or using one of the bedrooms as my gym. With 140 kgs of free wieghts, the 150kg+ multigym, cross trainer, and weights going up and down in one position over an extended time, I'm worried about the floor beams and ceiling below the gym room.

Is there a way to counter my worries with reinforcement or am I flapping for no reason?
