Hope this info is useful for someone, I know its been mentioned on the motoring board before, but I dont think its been on the forces one. xx

I wonder how you show that your a mechanic in the forces.....or do they just take your word for it mmmmm I'll be looking forward to your reply
If you find yourself in a fair fight, then you have failed to plan properly

I've only ever been wrong once! and that was when I thought I was wrong but I was right
  • From what ive seen on the net some stores just take your ID card as proof and dont bother asking about your trade, and some want to see eng/ mech certs. Will take NVQ certs just in case. xx
  • i went in to Halford's and asked for a trade card. They accepted my forces ID card as proof, no questions.
  • Yep we managed fine with just ID card too. xx

You got to get through what you've got to go through to get what you want but you got to know what you want to get through what you got to go through.
