in Credit cards
I'm 18 in a few days, and want to apply for a credit card just to build my credit rating. I'll be paying it off as soon as the bill comes in. I'm with Lloyds TSB (current account) at the moment. I'm getting £5000 PA and currently in full time education (last year of college).
Would Lloyds TSB accept me on any of their credit cards or am I not earning enough?

Even if Lloyds does have a min income as you already have an existing relationship with them you may still be able to get a card. Might be worth popping into the branch and asking what card it would be best for you to apply for
If you can't get the Lloyds card there are a range of credit building cards which start with low limits and have high rates. But seeing as you'll be paying off in full it shouldn't matter about the rate. HTH.Kavanne

I'm sure they'll give you something. If they don't then try applying for a Capital One Classic or standard MBNA MasterCard.0 -
They probably will give you a card with a stinker of an APR on it so make sure you set up a DD to pay the bill each month.Nothing to see here, move along.0
