*Slow cooker experts, help please!*

So this morning I decided to give my slow cooker a go and cook the chicken curry recipe someone posted last week.
I put the ingredients in and put it on HIGH when I was suppose to put it on LOW.
I put it on at 8.15 and realised my mistake at 11am and switched it to LOW but now i'm worrying if I'm suppose to do that and if it will mess the whole thing up? Also, I expected it to be ready for roughly 5.30pm, but since it cooked for two hours on high, I don't know what time it'll be ready for? Any ideas on any of these issues?
I've got 3 small chicken breasts, 2 small potatoes and 1 carrots, with water just covering it all.

Don't panic Charlene I'm sure it'll be fine for 5.30.Things do cook very slowly in a SC,so I doubt it will come to much harm.You might find that it looks a bit dry and crusty by dinnertime but a good stir + a bit of extra liquid should sort that out.Food usually 'holds' for a couple of hours in a SC after cooking time is up.0

I did the same thing as you with a stew when i first had my SC, but i had it on high for about 6 hours!!!! The stew was fine, it had just stuck a bit round the sides!!!!

I did exactly the same thing this morning with my sausage casserole, from experience I know that it won't make a lot of difference thankfully;)Post Natal Depression is the worst part of giving birth:p

Mrs MATHS dinner is regularly cooked for a couple of hours longer than mine and the MATHLETTS and there is no difference. Slocooking is very forgivingingLife's a beach! Take your shoes off and feel the sand between your toes.0

Half an hour left and I tasted it, it was horrid, and watery, feeling pretty sorry for myself, I added in some bisto, then I burned the rice and wondered if this day could go any worse?
Curry turned out lovely! A little watery than I like, but this is my first go, so trial and error and all that.

Glad it turned out OK Charlene.Slow-cooked dishes always end up wetter than when they started.I've learnt to use less liquid than for oven-cooked casseroles.0
