I need to fill a gap near some hot water (radiator) pipes in my pantry think mice are popping up through the gap. Can I use that expanding foam polyfilla to fill the gap and will it be safe when the pipes get hot, it will not catch fire will it??

The pipes will not get warm enough to catch fire.
They might smell a bit at first but should be OK.I used to be indecisive but now I am not sure.0 -
Problem is the mice might just decide to have a chomp at the foam, usually we stuff wire wool down the crack, its cheap and they don't like it.Mine needed a new fan so that must be whats wrong with yours:D0
