valli - i think appendix is lower right....but if you've got a bug it could just be your guts churning and contracting. Don't take any chances. NOT medical advice...just my opinion!

greenbee, big hugs to you. lots of love. I lost my grandad just before Christmas 11 years ago so I know what it's like. even if it's a blessing it's hard.

Valli - call NHS direct. There is a bug going round, but you need to make sure that you treat it properly. I find that diluted long-life apple juice (the amber coloured stuff) is good for rehydrating, as it isn't too acidic and gives you some calories. Can someone come over and look after you?

kids are both out so i can blub and wail now. have persuaded dd to get me the 'good' bucket as it will be easier to clean. fortunately was in bathrrom when i needed to be but the pain is agonising. dd wouldn't come near me for fear of catching it. i also have a pain low down on my rhs?

Well it's either this sickness bug that's doing the rounds or as rach says your appendix is low down on the rhs.

Valli if you really are feeling that bad then perhaps a call to NHS direct or the doctors might be in order just to be on the safe side. In the mean time have a huggle:grouphug:

Valli - stop typing, call NHS direct, get someone to entertain your kids and go to bed with a hot water bottle, bucket and lots of fluids.

    OddjobKIA:rotfl: .

One child still up and the other 2 still awake, i could easily fall asleep here myself. Hubby sleeping on the sofa thank goodness. Plan now is to chill for awhile as my backs sore and then do a bit more on the list.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Valli - please phone NHS direct - I'm with Rach and the others - appendicitis came into my mind. But either way, even if it's just a bug, you need some advice
