Newquay Help, apartment, house ??

hi guys
me and my husband are looking at going to the Newquay Surf Festival this year (3/8 - 9/8) and don't really fancy camping for 2 weeks - getting old, i've looked at static caravan sites but they seem a bit pricey at £600+ each, so £1200 and my hubby said that maybe an appartment or house could be rented cheaper, i'm looking for secure parking as we are travelling on a motorbike and preferbly walking distance into Newquay, anybody able to help ? :o

To be honest, and I have Cornish relatives, they'll steal the sugar out of your tea if they could.

You'll get shafted whatever you decide (a static caravan site in the UK for >£600 for two weeks.............you can go all inclusive in a place with sunshine for half the price).

We ain't called Rip-Off Britain for nothing.

Any advice that you receive from me is worth exactly what you paid for it. Not a penny more or a penny less.

have you thought about the huge tents which are already put up, they have beds in them and may work out cheaper ? I think Perran Sands do these and they are not too far away from Newquay.

That's the height of the season and everywhere is going to be expensive - £600 for two weeks isn't that pricy, you'd pay that for one week in an apartment.

sorry i mean't £600 each (so £1200 for 2 weeks), i'd be happy with a £600 appartment for the week or a lttle longer.
