All Inclusive Recommend - Europe ?

Hello
I am looking at going to Europe for a week in May for our wedding anniversary (anytime between 18/5-29/5), flying from Leeds Bradford. The other half doesn't like long flights so anywhere in Europe would be great.

I'm looking for somewhere with a bit of life (we went to Cala Millor last year and half of the bars were still shut !). I thought All Inclusive would be cheaper with the Euro as it is and was looking for a couple of recommendations of hotels where people have stayed all inclusive and would recommend good value, food etc..?

Anywhere considered, currentley been looking at Majorca,Palma Nova, Playa Las Americas, Tenerife just somewhere with a bit of life mid May.....

I have a £100 voucher for Thomson Plus hols and i hear Thomas Cook sale starts Boxing day so looking at booking before the New Year.

Any help would be great !!! :j

  • we went to cala d'or in ibiza last may all inclusive booked through thomsons hotel tanit, it was much better than reviews suggested, food fantastic, only 10 minute walk to san antonio so nightlife there if you want it.
  • forgot to say flight was from doncaster

I'm not a fan of All Inclusive because I think it makes people stay in the hotel and get their moneysworth. However, I do understand we're all different and I'm sure there will be some bargains about. Hope you find a good one!

It is worth checking out Turkey - it isn't much longer flight and there are some great AI deals at that time of the year as 1st May is right at the start of their season.

The Olu Deniz / Fethiye region is just beautiful and the people are really friendly.

Also it is not in the EU so you won;t get hit by the appalling sterling/euro exchange rate

    I'd second Olu Deniz.

It's a beautiful resort and the people are very friendly. There are a few all inclusives and many hotels run on a B&B basis. There a main street and the sea front with many bars, shops and restaurants. It's a laid back resort, but Hisaronu is just a short dolmus/taxi ride away if you want a bit more of a party atmosphere. People are lovely and friendly, and I'm still in touch with some of them.

There's plenty to see and do in the area, or plenty of places just to chill out depending on your mood. If you feel brave you can paraglide off the 6500ft mountain that overlooks the resort. My boys and me did that and it was awesome.

We liked it so much we want to go back next year!
Here I go again on my own....
