Help - luggage left behind.
DD(23) is on her way home for the week from Oxford.
She somehow managed to leave her suitcase on the platform at Oxford station.
I phoned them thinking they could send it on to Leeds or York station for us to collect if we paid a fee.
Instead I got told to phone back tomorrow at 6p.m. when if they have it they will give us a reference number so someone can travel to Bristol to collect it.!!!
Has anyone any idea of decent couriers etc I could try????
Any advice at all would be appreciated.

Has she friend in oxford that go to station to see if its still there, been handed in. Then keep for her. Then go to shop tommorrow to get a few bits to last a few days and just wash them.:j0

A "hot-shot" courier is likely to charge a good £300 to do Bristol to York. All the main UK wide ones have shut for the Xmas holidays now.0

more to the point... do they have it?!0

They won't know if they have the suitcase till 6p.m. tomorrow.
She has a friend in Oxford who will ask about it and will suggest she just forgets about it for a week or so, will buy her a few bits and bobs to use while she is home and then see how it goes.
People have been scaring her saying the case will have been blown up as a bomb threat, so she is not a happy bunny but nothing is irreplacable so it could have been worse.
Thanks for the help and advice!:T :A"This site is addictive!"
