anybody know of any good companies that offer a cheap web site,
i have transferred jobs and one old company own my web site.
Not very good at tech stuff so any help would be grateful

If you're just looking for hosting, try Jamroll. They offer completely free hosting and only place a tiny, tiny advert at the very bottom of your homepage. No popups, no links, just a good webhosting service. I've been with them for a while now and have no complaints whatsoever.

If you're looking for a full package (domain name, design, hosting etc) then I can't really recommend anything as I don't have much experience in that area.

If you just want a "static" site that doesn't change much (used for informational sites) then go to 1and1.co.uk, sign up for a package suiting your needs and use their website builder tool - it is great and has a great reputation...

If you want a website where user's can interact with it then you will need to get it professionally designed or learn some sort of scripting language.
