Are the Argos delivery T&Cs legal?

  • I have just read the Distance Selling Regulations. Argos must have not updated their terms and conditions since they came into force.

As we know private companies will kill you (whether it's running prisons and killing young child inmates or working as 'security gurards' in Iraq and shooting people walking along the street minding their own business).

As we all know this it's a good rule of thumb to ignore all T&Cs. See them merely as a wish list from someone who's !!!!!! in all things lawfully sound.

Find out the laws, ask Trading Standards and places like here for general pointers. Otherwise ignore private companies.

Giving Argos your business (as a private individual) is not an acceptance of their T&Cs nor can you remove yourself from being able call on your "Statutory Rights" by doing so.
