  • I'd hazzard a guess at Lulu Guinness the bag designer.
Surely it should have had some sort of label stating this. Must say I can see the buyers point of view.

I've seen plenty of neutrals and negatives for "item was smaller than expected" - but when you view the item, sizes and weights are clearly mentioned.

Occupational hazard of selling on eBay I guess.

  • I sold a glass topped table and stools. Woman won the auction, came to collect and she looked it over and said it was perfect for what they needed. She had bought a small car, her husband and 2 kids and proceeded to shove the table (at one point smacking her kid in the head with the corner) into the car.

2 weeks later got a negative to say that the table was scratched badly and the stool (faux leather) was ripped.

I wouldn't mind, but she had looked it all over when she collected and said she was chuffed
  • So what was the relation to guinness??
It was a black Guinness (as in the drink) sports bag. The label inside said Guinness, but the buyer wanted it to say Guinness on the outside of the bag (which I never said it did)
You're only young once, but you can be immature forever :D

I also got the standard one for an item of clothing being too small..yet I had sold a size 18 and the buyer regularly bought 22+ so I responded with a neg on that one (only as I had had no previous contact and would have refunded the item if asked) along the lines of 'buy the size you are and not the size you want to be in future'.
