Sky themselves were doing a free dish, box and install not so long a go, you could try going straight to them.
Otherwise, try your local arial company, these are usually quite good as you can choose which sky box make you can get i.e. Pace, Amstrad etc.. With Sky you don't get to choose. In the past Amstrad have been very bad and Pace more recently so we opted for a Panasonic one which seems to have lasted quite well.
ALso, for those who are moving house and want to have Sky in their new home and don't want to pay the £70 re-connection fee, tell them you will go to NTL out of principle as you think it's unfair you have to pay for the installation (most likely again). I did this knowing full well I wasn't going to NTL (more expensive for less channels), so thought I would try my luck, and it worked. Only drawback is, I didn't get a new sky box, I had to take my old one which meant I didn't get the 2 year warranty. But this is the risk I took as I got a decent Panasonic box. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

add an 'a' in the appropriate place if you really want to look. Be aware the site is a horrendously childish mishmash so put your sunglasses on0
