sky hd to pc?

The Copy+ site also has another piece of software on it named +Extract - this allows you to extract and watch Sky+/SkyHD programs on your PC. However, it only works with FTA (free to air) recordings.
Adding a 1TB hard drive to your Sky box would certainly help - but this is only possible by using the Copy+ software (as there's a bug in the Sky software which limits hard disk space to somewhere just above 300GB).
As to how much would fit on... from what I've read, 160GB is taken up by the system, leaving around 150-160 hours of HD recording. Would that be enough?
A colleague at work told me he recorded Sky programs by connecting a DVD recorder directly to the SCART output on the Sky box. Would this work?

hmm.. the way i've done it in the past is
sky box rf2 out, into a tv stick, tv stick software set to record said channel at a certain time, make sure sky box is on, automatically saves it in a format for computer, and even my iPhone... simple!0
