Here's a list of things I'm not bothered about:
X Factor
Max Factor
Head lice
Pearly Queens
Purley Queens
Old ten shilling notes
Lard
Skipping
Country Dancing
Odd pennies in inaccessible parts of the sofa.
House prices are a different matter though. I have a collection of three, all slightly worn, but one has been good enough to attract steady interest. I'm hoping to find a few more in a year or so; probably smaller, but nevertheless realistic, and certainly in keepng with the economic environment......
Oh yes, I could probably talk about house prices all night.
By the way, if you're not moving, give yourself a prod, just in case. That's what happens with ferrets; one day they're fine & whizzing about the cage, the next......not moving. Way to go though!0 -
Even if someone was in negative equity, if they didnt plan on moving, would it actually matter? Why do you "have" to do something about it? (ducks for cover!)0

Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. The one where you showed us Dithering Dad is a complete liar. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE Forum Team0

The same old people saying the same old stuff - just on different threads.
It's boring now. Boring.
It doesn't matter how often you repeat yourselves - house prices and sales will do what they're going to do. And at the moment - that isn't much.
I can't understand how some of you can keep repeating yourselves day in day out.................don't you bore easily?
Talking and writing about house prices isn't going to change anything. Why don't you go out and have some fun? Go and live in the world and forget your obsession for a while. It will do you good.
You'll not make something happen by constantly wishing it, or tapping it out on your keyboard!:money:
You need to get some light relief. Maybe go on a sponsored walk or something?:j
It would be very sad if you sent yourselves round the twist with your obsession - or ended up in an Old Folks Home still discussing house prices!!!
Go and have some FUN - it's Christmas! Forget house prices - what will be will be!
Pickledpink are you mad !!?
You've missed loads of exciting stuff, don't know where to start..!!!!!!'s affair with carolt, Mr.B punching above his weight with the gorgeous lawyer from chelsea and Mewbie, well just being his normal self. MSE!! It's the future !!0 -
LOL, another memory - I must be getting old, too many memories now - Few years ago, I saw an ad in the sunday paper - half price weekend at The Grand, Brighton - well, brilliant, I booked it for the following week - got all the confirmation details by post, never really checked. When we got there it wasnt THE Grand, nor was it Brighton, but one of the towns further along the coast and the sign said "a Butlins hotel" pmsl - OH refused to even get out of the car.
LOL was it the Ocean Grand, Saltdean? If so, I got caught in just the same way! I didn't mind though as I love art deco architecture...but the hotel was hilarious, all the food seemed to have boiled sprouts with it, and they served tea with the meal - when I asked for wine, they said 'er...I think we have some...yes, in that cupboard' and pointed to a small collection of dusty mateus rose bottles...!'Never keep up with Joneses. Drag them down to your level. It's cheaper.' Quentin Crisp0 -

Quality post
I used to keep ferrets for working, later on in life, a GF kept them as pets and used to show them, weird, she always used to smell of them
I used to wish those bloody things would give up the ghost. luckily she dumped me, so that was sorted out
Can I add to your list?
Strictly come dancing
Down in the jungle
ANY reality show
.....especially "The family"
ANY celeb
Gladiators
ANY made for the masses junk tv
Shopping
popping
people who complain they are hard done by, when they've taken a chance and its gone wrong.
I'll finish complaining later, I have to go and let a woman kneel on my back :doh:Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes.0
