Central Heating Breakdown Cover

Hi.
Could anyone offer me advice please on the companies offering the cheapest central heating cover?

I have a Halsted 4 year old combi boiler and want cover for the boiler and central heating system.
Any advice gratefully received!

Mike,
If you look on this 'Gas and Electricity' section there are loads of threads on this subject.

British Gas is the main provider of this cover - some love BG, others hate them.

There does not appear to be another company that provides similar service cheaper.

Most people use BG(or other scheme) as a form of insurance.

Others argue that you are better off saving your 'premiums' and waiting until something goes wrong - although there is the safety issue of checking any gas appliance.

Most agree that the best bet is to find a good, honest, qualified and reliable plumber; a very rare beast for most of us.

Just look through the different threads to get a fuller set of opinions.
