Do you just write your bank account number on the BT column?

Yes. From memory, there is space on the form to enter a sort code and bank account number.

i know of five credit cards, that allow SBT'S.

Alliance & Leicester
Mint
Mbna

Are there any more.

All the many MBNA run cards can do it, including Abbey which you list seperately.

Also, according to [thread=23646]this thread[/thread] Citibank can be used too.
