Are There Royal Mail Deliveries Today?

I heard there was going to be a Sunday post today? Anyone know if it is true?

Also, are there going to be evening deliveries on Monday and Tuesday as well as the normal ones?

From what i can work out from website
sunday they are redelivering parcels

and monday and tuesday evening you can collect parcels from thier offices

According to the RM Survey group, RM will be carrying out the traditional last-Sunday-before-xmas extra delivery today.

all of these deliveries depend on local staffing
there will be package deliveries only if they have the staff and budget to pay them
i wouldnt wait in on the off chance

I just got a parcel a minute ago, does that mean the post offices are open today too? I've got a missed parcel to collect.

My local collection office is open today, but I don't think the actual post offices in the area are.

post office and royal mail are seperate
you would need to check what opening times your local post office has over xmas
for parcel collections at delivery offices a lot are open later & 7 days
the card should show these

Same here, it was two items from play.com, not ebay though! I thought it was strange too as usually PO and nearly every postal company don't open on Sundays!

I've had a parcel redelivered today that I was due to pick up tomorrow morning. Good old Royal Mail, I get to have a lie in on my day off now!

yeah i had 11 parcels all arrive together in white sacks this morning from royal mail.The earliest was posted on the 8th DEC. So they must have been saving them up for me he he.
