I bought a phone card offering 200 mns of calling time to my destination. I talked only for 40 mns when I heard a WARNING saying that I have 30 seconds left. THIS IS A PURE THEFT  .
HAVE YOU EVER EXPERIENCED THE SAME THING?
I can tell you the name of the provider if you are interested.

buy only the standard cards like post office.cheap cards often give less minutes.read the t&c in details like minutes from 0800 ,0845 ,090 & as well as from 020 number.Another con thing is the connection charge like just dial cards placing a 99p connection charge on some destinations like India.so if you disconnect the call and made another one then you are most likely to run out of credit.0

HI Massy, as Eagleeye said it sound like you got a card with a headline rate of 200 minutes but if you read the small print that only applies if you make it in one call to 0845 / 0870 number. Otherwise you get charge a surcharge for calling 0207/0800 and more if making an 0800 on a payphone. If you say what country you are trying to call might be able to suggest a way to call cheap. Like a Post Office phonecard or a call through number and O2 pay as you go simcard / contract with cashback etc.0

I have been selling these cards for many years now and it has always been the case that you must read the small print as the headline rates usually apply only if you use london as the access.
There are a few good clean cards available but always read the small print for
 maintenance charges
 call termination fee
 daily fee
oh the list could go onMy Shop Is Your Shop0
