My two favourites are Risk (already mentioned) and Backgammon, I was in competative leagues for both games as a teenager with tournaments and championships every year.0

there is loads of interactive board type games u see advertised on telly
tho best place i feel to go a look is toys r us - fabulous selection and really decent prices:A VK :A0
