Think this needs moving into the other forum - Days Out -
But, as a suggestion, did you think of flying, instead of sailing?
Our first trip to Amsterdam, was the overnight ferry - no problems, or complaints - despite rough weather - I slept through it though!!
It's just soooooooooooooo much time/effort to get thru' Harich, then all the messing about at the other end.
easy jet = Luton Airport, get on aircraft - up in the sky for seconds - land - on your way, for the holiday/break. All in a couple of hours & a similar cost!!

 I like Amsterdam!!

Nope, want to go via ferry. I used to live in Holland and my wife and I go back all the time. It's so much easier to drive as she wants to go shopping in Lelynstaad (Shopping outlet that gives 50 - 75% + off branded clothing, she got 6 x pairs of Polo Ralph Lauren jeans for 30 euros last time......).
We will be travelling from Nottingham so Harwich is best for us?
Just need a discount code for the ferry!
 Thanks

Who wants to fly when you can take a relaxing crossing on a ferry.
I recommend the superferry! Is a longer journey than the High Speed Ferry, but includes 2 meals for same price as HSS ! You can also travel overnight if you want. Is more Value for money, whats the hurry, why everyone in a hurry today. Learn to Relax.
You can not take your car on a plane !
Just Ask when booking for any discounts, It worked for me last time.!0
