Which is why you dont get cleaning companies charging £6 an hour
And which is why I dont charge 6 quid an hour - 7.50 and its declared and stamp and tax paid
Not declaring earnings is illegal you know so its not "ok" its fraud and if less and less people stopped turning a blind eye then perhaps wages would increase and the benefits bill would decrease

I am soooo fed up of trying to keep the house clean, OH wouldn't know a duster if it bit him! :rotfl:
Does anyone know of a good cleaner/cleaning agency which covers south Belfast? Prices would be good too.

Well I work full time all week, my wife works close on 30 hours a week during evenings and weekends when I am at home, we have 2 kids to look after and can't afford to pay child care, hence the odd hours we work to make ends meet. I wish I had a spare £9 an hour to pay someone to clean my house;) but I don't, so between us we do it ourselves.
I have been berated in the past for laughing at people paying for an ironing service, so I'll say no more. Ladies get your husbands a duster and an instruction manual, oh and buy a big manly hoover too and a MAN IRON:rotfl: they won't mind helping out then:rotfl:I am trying, honest;) very trying according to my dear OH:rotfl:0 -
I am using the service on here Maid2clean. The girl who comes to me is very good, very thorough.
I have had people say to me "oh i couldnt afford a cleaner" and i say well " i couldnt afford to smoke 60 fags a day like you....".:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
you got to have some pleasures whether its buying something new ( i rarely do) getting your nails done ( never !) or going to the pub every week end....(Never ) - so each to their own
I tried advertizing on Gumtree but could never get anyone permanent to clean.....0
