My parents live in a nice one!
I live in not so nice a one.....We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -
Just thought i would let you all know that i went to the docks last night! (Trinity) I must say its a very big place and seemed very busy. Those RGT things reminded me of something out of war of the worlds! They even have their own police force, and no i didn't get done i just had to get a RHIDES card or something. Must admit it was a bit soul destroying when i got of the M6 and saw the sign "Felixstowe 128 miles".0

Two new intermodal rail services in England
Independent freight forwarder Allport has awarded two new rail contracts for deepsea container traffic
Allport has awarded new contracts to First GBRf and Freightliner’s Logico division, to haul containers between Felixstowe and Southampton respectively and BIFT (Birmingham Intermodal Freight Terminal). First GBRF will also haul containers for Allport from Felixstowe to Doncaster Europort.
Deals with both rail hauliers are understood to be based on 12 month rolling contracts. The Logico service from Southampton is the 12th daily service that Freightliner operates from the south coast port.
First GBRf will serve BIFT by increasing capacity of its existing “common user” service that runs from Felixstowe to Hams Hall in Birmingham to 26 wagons. This will make it the longest train out of the Port of Felixstowe. The service also marks First GBRf's entry to BIFT.
Kevin Witmore, Allport’s operations director, said, "We are encouraging customers, when appropriate, to utilise high cube containers because we believe that they provide a cost-effective alternative to standard ISO boxes and lessen the environmental impact of each freight kilo carried. We anticipate that demand, already picking up, will continue to grow in the medium term."0 -
Have you got a container for sale?0
