The Lion King,London

Hi, I'm just looking for some advice on this, 4 of us would like to see this show in late Feb, we don't know London at all so a pointer in the right direction would be good.

We are hoping to stay 2 or 3 nights somewhere, convenient for the show and Paddington.

If anyone could suggest some reasonable accommodation or the best way to get some decent tickets at a decent price it would be appreciated.

Are the accommodation/tickets combined offers any good (superbreak etc) or would I be better off booking seperately?

I realise it's all rather vague at the moment but i'VE only just started to look around.

Thanks

I'm a bit 'out of the loop' as far as prices and offers are concerned at the moment, but if you are going with children, try to get tickets for the stalls, ideally near the end of a row at one of the two aisles :)

I would also recommend that you check out London Town for their theatre and hotel deals.

    http://www.londontown.com/

I booked this exact trip for my best mate and her partner last year and got them a really good deal at the Millennium Mayfair.
Paddington and the theatre district are quite a distance apart from each other but it is still walkable. You can choose either district with hotels like the Strand Palace, Kingsway, Travelodges at both Covent Garden and Holborn, the Imperial Hotel group and all Bloomsbury hotels being well situated for the theatre.
In the Paddington area, there are lots of B&Bs around Sussex Gardens and some better hotels along the northern side of Hyde Park such as the Corus Hyde Park, Park Inn and Ramada Hyde Park, the Royal Lancaster, Norfolk Towers and the Guoman Cumberland.

Pop into your local thomas cook they have some really good deals on with superbreaks, the travel agent will do all the hard work for you, give you advise and its still the same price as the internet website for superbreaks. Also if you have or get a thomas cook credit card you get points on your purchase and 3 months interest free credit.

Superbreak can be expensive, www.show-and-stay.co.uk is worth a look, it's run by Holiday Extras, prices are often cheaper than Superbreak
