  • I love mulled wine and have found M&S and Tesco are both OK. I made the mistake of buying 3 bottles of Asda mulled wine, it was truly dreadful, however they did let me take 2 unopened bottles back!

I've had Asda's, Tesco's & Sainsburys & find Sainsburys the nicest but as previously stated, everyone's different.

i would advise making your own then you can get it to your exact taste- last year i did this with a wok and a carton of muslin bags of mulled wine spice from aldi which were just over £1 and you can always add stuff like orange peel or cloves...
keep calm and carry on :rotfl:

Make your own- seriously- its much much nicer!
I had m&s at work last year, very very sweet and alcoholic- it was at the beginning of a shift where I had eaten an apple for lunch....whoops!!

Tescos is alittle too acidic, you can really feel it on your teeth- not that m&s's is much better on that point, but taste wise m&s is nice if you like sweet things. I tend to find the mulled wine that is homemade is far less acidic.

For your own, mix wine and orange/lemon/spices.... you can even buy teabags from whittards- it can be really fun if you have people round and you can add peices of fruit (apple, pear, orange...etc).
