Anyone know where to find best tasting mulled wine?

Hi,

Does anyone know of any sites that does a "taste test" comparison of mulled wine that you can buy in supermarkets eg Morrisons, Adsa, Tesco etc?

I was thinking of making my own but just wondered if anyone had bought a bottle somewhere that tasted yummy/spicy?

I'd recommend m&s mulled wine lovely had tescos last year nowhere near as nice as m&s

Thank you. I was thinking maybe to try M&S as most of their stuff is nice, but wasnt sure whether they did it.

Other peoples taste buds are different, i could say mulled wine from waitrose is the best but someone else could say its crap and not very tasty, the best way imo would be to taste test 1 from each shop and taste them side by side and find the 1 you find the nicest, what you could do is organise a taste evening with friends and you ask them to bring a bottle of mulled wine from each shop eg m&s, tesco, and oyu have someone make a home made 1 to a recipe and you do a blind taste test to see which is the best

Im enjoying a glass of Aldi's mulled wine now. Only ever tried this and Tesco's and this is much nicer.

Got to say we have lidl mulled wine, lovely, and even nicer with a drop of rum in it.

M&S wins for me too - so much so, seem to be stockpiling it so best get drinking...
