Hi,

As you will have seen from my other thread I am in the process of buying a BMW 330D from a private seller. I will be getting this HPI checked (£7 ebay) obviously but I also want to have it checked over independantly. I have looked on the AA website but they want £222 to conduct an inspection. I know that some will say £222 is not alot when I'm spending that sort of money but it just seems a bit steep from were i'm standing.

Can anyone recommend any other companies that do these inspections without paying over the odds, for the name AA in this case . Or indeed does anyone know a good mechanic in the Nottingham area? Or even better a BMW mechanic in the Nottingham area! lol.

Is there a independant BMW garage in Nottingham were the car could be taken for an inspection?

Cheers,

Pete.
I'll get me coat!
