Maternity pay mess up!

Having returned to work in Aug from maternity leave the RAF messed up my pay for 3 months, recieving SAT MAT PAY of £510 which is a quarter of my entitled pay. I was unable to pay bills and mortgage on time and the RAF would only give me one EPIC.
My credit rating is now in ruins and im still paying out charges for missed or late payments. All in all I belive this pay mess up has cost me £1000 if not more. Has anyone sussesfully claimed money from JPA/MOD when pay has been incorrect?

There was an urban myth going round about an aircrew bod who had sued the MOD for pay errors, but it appears to have been just a myth.

I'm a bit surprised that you have been only given one EPIC when you are only getting 25% of your wage. Although EPICs are not an ideal solution, the "E" in EPIC Stands for Emergency, and had you been at my Unit, you'd have been given the remaining 75% every month until the JPAC sorted your pay out.

I suggest you go back to your HR on the 1st day back and demand (politely) an EPIC for everything you are owed. If you get fobbed off, invite the Chf Clk to pay your bills!
